Vicki – Director

I am passionate and have strong values regarding the provision of quality health and social care services. I believe that every individual deserves access to the highest standard of care, and I am dedicated to ensuring that this is achieved. My commitment to promoting service user well-being and advocating for their rights drives me to constantly strive for excellence in my work.

I’ve worked in health and social welfare for more than three decades. These 20 years have been spent in management positions (Community Support Manager, Home Manager, Registered Manager, Operations Manager, and Regional Manager) overseeing a variety of services. Services include domiciliary care, supported living, day services, outreach, respite care, and residential care. These positions have spanned the public and private sectors. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to improving the quality of care provided to individuals in need. This commitment has driven me to actively seek out opportunities for professional development and stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices. As a result, I have successfully implemented innovative strategies and initiatives that have positively impacted the lives of those under my care.

In addition to my employment experience, I have also been in need of assistance and support. This has occurred as a result of members of my immediate family utilising social care services. This has equipped me to guide and support health and social care providers in achieving excellent service delivery, I believe. My personal experience as a recipient of social care services has given me a unique perspective and empathy towards the needs and challenges faced by individuals in similar situations. This understanding allows me to approach my role with compassion and a deep commitment to improving the quality of care provided. Additionally, my first hand experience has also helped me develop strong communication skills, enabling me to effectively advocate for the needs of both service users and their families within the healthcare system.

Gwyn

Gwyn – Business Manager

Gwyn, my husband, is now working alongside me as my Business Manager, performing administrative tasks, managing the accounts, etc. Gwyn is learning the ropes because his expertise is in haulage and he has owned his own HGV driving business. Having Gwyn as my business manager brings a fresh perspective to the table, as his experience in the haulage industry has taught him valuable skills in organisation and efficiency.

With his support, we are able to streamline our operations and ensure the smooth functioning of the business. Additionally, Gwyn’s expertise in managing accounts and administrative tasks allows me to focus more on providing guidance and support to health and social care providers.
